Conception

Painted with spontaneity, from the heart, the symbolism, colours and letters, marked a new beginning, a departure form the usual, and bringing to light the imaginations of the heart.

African Interior

Painted under the theme, African Abstract, African art is rich and mystical as much as it is storytelling.

I remember some of those tales by my mother back then during nighttime. If the viewer could finish the rest…

The Judge

Influenced by the 2018 elections. While seeking to be independent, individually or as a nation, one can only keep dreaming.

Beyond

A reproduction of a piece done in 2006, derived from the artist’ self portrait looking beyond and braking all rules and barriers in quest for self identity and freedom.

A New Day

Painted under the theme, African Abstract, central to this painting is the idea of a different art form in term of composition, elements in painting and the freedom of express self. If the view can make their own conclusions, then I have achieved my goal.

The Quartet

Influenced by the rich colourful and diverse cultures around us, the beautiful environment and common background, only one sound can be heard; and that of harmony.

Kano (Ceremonial Axe)

Painted under the theme, African Abstract, Kano was influenced by the many African ceremonies that are held seosonaly, like that for the rains. Adorned with ceremonial colourful garments, the kano will be among the other intruments used throughout the event.
